Know the six incredible undersea hotels

In today's time of growth, everyone is running after luxury, be it in terms of car, houses and even in holidays. With the same thought of providing luxury to people, some hoteliers across the world went beyond the imagination and  planned luxury accomodations in the deep. While these undersea hotels are unique in their own respective ways, they also give its visitors some great experiences. While some of these incredible hotels have already been created, there are some which are yet at the blueprint stage.

Here we present you the list of six stunning undersea hotels:

Utter In, Sweden

 

Located in Lake Malaren near the town of Vasteras in Sweden is a floating hotel, which allows its visitors to have a view from 10 feet beneath the surface of the lake. Utter In which is an art project of Mikael Genberg, looks like a traditional Swedish cottage from above the surface. Guests scuttle down a ladder to reach the simple underwater living quarters where they have the amzing view underwater life.

Shimao Wonderland , China

Being built on the site of a waterfilled abandoned quarry, Shimao Wonderland, is a unique hotel in  Songjiang, China  which is presently under construction. Wonderland which is said to be a five-star luxury hotel, is being built inside the quarry. The luxury hotel which has been designed by British- based firm Atkins will have 380-400 rooms and will have 19 storeys two of which will be under water.

Conrad Maldives Rangali Islands, Maldives

  

Conrad Maldives is a six star luxury hotel situated on two islands and is reached by a 30-minute seaplane flight and are connected by a 500-meter bridge. The hotel which is mostly above the ground has a beautiful under sea restaurant, Ithaa, where the guests. can see the fish wander along the bridge any time after dark. The islands are home to whale sharks, manta rays, dolphins and turtles allows the hotel to offer amazing diving experiences.

Water Discus Hotel, Dubai

  

Dubai has always been a place of engineering marvels and yet another marvel is soon to be added in this list for Dubai- Water Discus, an underwater hotel. Designed by Deep Ocean Technology, the above water portion will look like a cluster of UFOs, while the below the surface will have  21 luxe rooms, a lavish lobby and a training pool for scuba diving.

Jules' Undersea Lodge, Florida

 
The only underwater hotel in United States, Jules' Undersea Lodge, was named after the novelist Jules Verne, the author of 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. The hotel is located at the bottom of the Emerald Lagoon and was opened in 1986.  It is 30 feet (9 m) deep on the ocean floor and guests have to scuba dive to get to their rooms.

Poseidon Undersea Resort, Fiji

 

The as-yet-unlaunched resort, Poseidon, will be a five-star resort and is located on a private island in Fiji.  Conceived and developed by L. Bruce Jones, the president of US Submarines Inc., Poseidon, will be the world's first permanent one-atmosphere seafloor structure. This underwater resort will feature twenty-two 550-square-foot guest rooms, an underwater restaurant and bar, a library, conference room, wedding chapel, spa and a 1,200-square-foot luxury suite.
